Okay....So, I make these "Gnarly-Dolls". They are kind of odd, sometimes creepy.
Not too long ago, someone challenged me to try and make a set of "normal" rag dolls.
Now, let me introduce you to "Zeb & Essy"...the most normal rag dolls I've ever stitched.
Both dolls are completely hand-stitched...I do not use a sewing machine. I do not own a sewing machine. I am terrified of sewing machines. They're too fast and chaotic for me. I prefer the rhythm of a hand-stitch. It is truly meditation.
Zeb is approximately 21" tall.
Essie is approximately 14" tall.
They have been tea-stained and they have removable clothing.
Just so you know...when I was a little girl, I absolutely loved "The Waltons". I especially loved Grandma and Grandpa. Their names have always stuck with me....Zebulon and Esther. So see? Zeb and Essy? Yep ~ just a little nod to my childhood.
If you are living outside the U.S. and are interested in purchasing these dolls, please message me for shipping cost.
If you have any questions, please feel free to message me.
NOTE: These dolls are not toys. They have buttons that could cause a choking hazard. They are art dolls, not meant to be played with.
